United Soccer Leagues Announces Kitsap Soccer Club’s 2009 Schedule
Professional soccer arrives on the Kitsap Peninsula this Spring
Bremerton, Wash. – The United Soccer Leagues (USL) today released its official league schedule - including the first-ever for the new, fully professional Kitsap Soccer Club.
The team will play a 16-match regular season consisting of eight home and eight away matches in its inaugural season. It is believed that this club is the first-ever fully professional sports franchise in the region.
All home matches for 2009 will be played on natural grass at the historic Bremerton Memorial HS Stadium, centrally located in Bremerton, Wash.
