Although this is Jamel Wallace’s first season with the Pumas, the newcomer didn’t travel far on his way to Kitsap. Selected by Seattle Sounders FC in the third round of the 2010 Major League Soccer SuperDraft, Wallace now brings his game across the water. An all-conference player at San Diego State University, Wallace has been playing soccer since the age of 4, when he discovered the game in Panama. Going by the nickname “J-Crunk,” this childhood tap-dancer enjoys playing baseball, eating hamburgers and reading Stephen King books away from the field. He also likes spending time with his girlfriend and watching movies.
